Determining the source of a performance problem can be one of the most difficult diagnostic challenges. Often, the problem will be blamed on a 'faulty MAF' and the MAF will be replaced, only for the problem to reappear. Before replacing your MAF make sure you fully run through these tests to ensure that the MAF is really the cause.
The upgraded 3-bar MAP sensor has a smaller diameter than the stock size 2.5-bar MAP sensor and requires the use of a grommet to fit properly in the intercooler.
