First, please read our "Warranty Policy" to ensure your item is eligible for warranty. Please note that any items returned for warranty must have a valid RMA attached to them.
There are two processes for submitting an item for warranty depending on if a replacement Product was purchased or will be purchased from IDParts.com.
Replacement Product Was Purchased from IDParts
Warranty claims will be fulfilled via a refund against the replacement order. Please note that warranty returns on replacement items must fall within the return period of 45 days.
After placing the new replacement order please use the Request Warranty Form to submit your warranty request. Fill all fields out and ensure you have both the original order number and the replacement order number submitted properly.
After submitting your warranty request we will reach out if we need further information. You will receive an email with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with instructions on how to send the item back to us.
We will notify you when we receive the item and when the warranty determination is completed. If the warranty is approved a refund for the value of the original item cost will be applied against the replacement cost from the replacement order.
Replacement Product Was NOT Purchased from IDParts
If a replacement item was not purchased the warranty claim will be fulfilled via store credit on IDParts.com. Please use the Request Warranty Form to submit your warranty request.
After submitting your warranty request we will reach out if we need further information. You will receive an email with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with instructions on how to send the item back to us.
We will notify you when we receive the item and when the warranty determination is completed. If the warranty is approved the value of the original item will be issued as store credit to the original purchaser's account. Warranties cannot be fulfilled via refund for orders older than 60 days.
